7-Day Raw Food Cleanse

Super excited to share my first raw diet journey and, the with wellness process that I’ve been on I’m hoping this will give me more clarity as I enter into 45 years of life. Wednesday, July 28, following the group 6:30 am workout, I linked up with my friend Soul for a morning walk & a light breakfast. I mentioned how the intermented fast was going and that I was pleased with my results. As we were completing the walk/run, we decided to grab a light breakfast. Just as I was filling up my third cup of coffee, she challenged me to a 14-day raw diet. This means no cooked foods, meat, wine and without cheating. She sold me when she said, “You’re disciplined and I think you can do it.” I immediately said, “Sure”. Then I negotiated down to 7 days. Reason being, I need to find out that I can actually commit and if the process is insightful and fulfilling as she speaks of, then make the decision to continue on to 14 days. We agreed to start Monday, August 2 and, we are allowing ourselves to have 1 glass of wine on day 4.

In The Raw Food Diet: 7-Day Meal Plan for Beginners article, https://www.merakilane.com/the-raw-food-diet-7-day-meal-plan-for-beginners/, minus the meat, it highlights benefits of heart health, nutrition, increase in energy and weight loss. And there are some challenges or things to be mindful of like limited diet choices, gas and toxic foods. We’ll mix and mingle throughout the 7-day meal plan with juices, smoothies, salads and raw snacks. On day 8, I will need to ease back into eating my normal regime – start with my green goddess soup. http://8hp.2cf.myftpupload.com/cooking/ #LetsGo – The 7 days below is a mix of what we did during the process.

She informed me of her experiences, how often she participates in the process and the deep connections and electricity with eating clean foods. Day #2 she talked about her 90 day raw diet. The first 30 days were raw foods. Second 30 days consisted of clean eating. Last 30 was a mix of juice and a vegan selections.
  2. Post on social media resulted in support from 3 new participants. I made smoothies for 2 people and recieved an email that walked me through his detox process that keeps the gut happy.
  3. Overall positive attitude and in-tuned with my thoughts.
  4. Fresh scents.
  5. No naps needed – my energy levels were high.
  6. This will be included into my nutrition regime.
  7. I broke my commitment to 4 glasses of wine…well.
